It is the time when the bluebells are out in full bloom. Always my favourite flower, they have held magick for me and when I walk amongst them I feel at home, contented to the core. I had decided that I would make an annual pilgrimage to Aberfoyle's faerie tree when the bluebells were out.

It was a lovely sunny day and we thought it was the perfect day to go in search of the ancient oak trees at Chatelherault. We have been there a few times before and have always really enjoyed it. Chatelherault is a 500 acre country park in Hamilton, Scotland, built 250 years ago as the hunting lodge and summerhouse for the Dukes of Hamilton.

I was asked earlier in the year if I would attend a friend's wedding in Lindos on the island of Rhodes, Greece. How could I refuse? I have visited this most beautiful part of the world before and as always become enchanted by its beauty and medieval presence.
